Meet Our Provider

Michelle is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and holds a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from California State University of Long Beach.   She holds several board certifications, including The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Oncology Certification (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. In addition,  she holds a specialty certification in breast health through the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) for advanced practice providers (APP Breast Certification).   

Michelle's 21 + years experience as a registered nurse began with a focus on caring for cancer patients.  Early in her career, she worked at Miller Children's Hospital caring for pediatric patients in the Hematology/Oncology unit where she became certified in chemotherapy and treating multiple types of childhood cancers.  She later went on to work in a private practice chemotherapy infusion center, with a focus on adult hematologic diseases and cancer.   She simultaneously worked as an aesthetic nurse and has always been passionate about helping others look and feel their best while embracing their natural beauty.  

Michelle currently works at Hoag Hospital as the Breast Center's High Risk NP, serving women with a greater than average risk of developing breast cancer.   In 2018, she was given the honor of earning the award for Outstanding Breast Health Advocate presented by the Susan G Komen Foundation for her work in breast cancer.  

Michelle's focus is on overall health, wellbeing, longevity and prevention.  This passion has lead her to opening up her wellness clinic.  She assists with lifestyle modifications and recommendations while incorporating a holistic approach to wellness.  She incorporates her love for aesthetics into her practice to help people look just as good on the outside as they feel on the inside.  She is dedicated to serving not only women in their wellness goals, but anyone who is ready to focus on healing, prevention and overall wellbeing.     .
